Ramappa Temple, also known as the Kakatiya Rudreshwara Temple, is a 13th‑century masterpiece located in Palampet village of Telangana. It was built in 1213 CE by Recherla Rudra, a general of the Kakatiya king Ganapati Deva. The temple stands on a unique star‑shaped platform, showcasing the architectural brilliance of the Kakatiya dynasty. Its pillars and walls feature exquisite carvings of dancers, musicians, and mythological scenes, reflecting the region’s rich artistic heritage.
